Welcome to the last week of our #RHCHoliday giveaways! Thank you all so much for playing along. We have really enjoyed hearing from you about what books you are excited about getting and giving this holiday season.

This week’s prize pack is what we are calling best bets. These are our biggest books of the fall, ones we loved and we know readers loved too! Perfect for giving to well, just about anyone. We feature new works from some of the biggest names in literature plus non-fiction from some very well known celebrities!

Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult:  Alice Metcalf was a devoted mother, loving wife and accomplished scientist who studied grief among elephants. Yet it’s been a decade since she disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind her small daughter, husband, and the animals to which she devoted her life. All signs point to abandonment. . .or worse. Still Jenna–now 13 years old and truly orphaned by a father maddened by grief–steadfastly refuses to believe in her mother’s desertion.

Shopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella: Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) newly arrived in Hollywood and starry-eyed. She and her two-year-old daughter, Minnie, have relocated to L.A. to join Becky’s husband, Luke, who is there to handle PR for famous actress Sage Seymour. Red carpet premieres, velvet ropes, paparazzi clamoring for attention—suddenly Becky has everything she’s ever wanted.

Or does she?

Where I Belong by Alan Doyle: From the lead singer of the band Great Big Sea comes a lyrical and captivating musical memoir about growing up in the tiny fishing village of Petty Harbour, Newfoundland, and then taking to the world stage.

Family Furnishings by Alice Munro: From the recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature — perhaps our most beloved author — a new selection of her peerless short fiction, gathered from the collections of the last two decades, a companion volume to Selected Stories (1968-1994).

Stone Mattress by Margaret Atwood: A collection of highly imaginative short pieces that speak to our times with deadly accuracy. Vintage Atwood creativity, intelligence, and humor.

Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham: For readers of Nora Ephron, Tina Fey, and David Sedaris, this hilarious, poignant, and extremely frank collection of personal essays confirms Lena Dunham—the acclaimed creator, producer, and star of HBO’s Girls—as one of the brightest and most original writers working today.

The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami: A lonely boy, a mysterious girl, and a tormented sheep man plot their escape from the nightmarish library of internationally acclaimed, bestselling Haruki Murakami’s wild imagination.

The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy by Rachel Joyce: When Queenie Hennessy discovers that Harold Fry is walking the length of England to save her, and all she has to do is wait, she is shocked. Her note had explained she was dying. How can she wait?
